IN THE EVENT THAT WE TAKE A LEGAL STRIKE POSITION TONIGHT (SEPTEMBER 18 11:59), WE ARE ASKING ANY MEMBER AVAILABLE TO COME HELP SET UP FROM MIDNIGHT (OR WHENEVER STRIKE IS CALLED FOR) UNTIL 6AM ON TOP OF THEIR SCHEDULED (3) SIX HOUR SHIFTS. THIS IS ALL OF OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE WE ARE TOGETHER, SAFE AND READY FOR WHAT IS TO COME

Questions have arisen towards the union hall regarding protocols. We did post most of this information on September 15, but we now want to make sure that everyone sees what is expected from them. Please refer to the attached documents to help with all questions you or your fellow members may have.

Picket Captains

Below, please find the picket captain information package. We have received a few calls asking what the responsibilities of the picket captains are. Please open the below downloadable information sheet if you are a picket captain

For those of you who are dealing with Police and Media please refer to the below document to assure there are no issues that may arise. For those of you who are not picket captains, please refer any police or media towards your picket captains so that the message remains the same and there is no confusion.
