MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP-Men’s Mental Health

Brothers & Sisters,

Solidarity means caring for one another in every capacity – from our workplaces to our homes – because an injury to one is an injury to all. Mental health is no exception. When it comes to men’s mental health, stigma can be fatal. Struggles that go unaddressed hurt families and communities.

The Ontario Regional Council EFAP Committee is delighted to invite you to an important event surrounding men’s mental health.

The 2026 Men’s Mental Health Workshop, scheduled March 11, 2026 at Local 707, where we can collectively break the silence about men’s mental health and tackle the stigma that impacts us all.

The event theme is NEVER ALONE. While this workshop focuses on men’s experiences, it’s also about recognizing that mental health is a shared issue with broad repercussions. It’s time to break the silence and create space for honest conversation to strengthen our collective well-being while maintaining an equity lens. Conversations rooted in healing, accountability, and solidarity are part of creating a just and inclusive future. No one should ever have to face their struggles alone.

Why attend?
Too many continue to struggle in silence. Through open conversations, shared experiences, and access to resources, we aim to build a culture of healing. This is a call to action for everyone – members, allies, families and communities – to join the conversation and help break the stigma together.
Together we’ll explore powerful stories, real-life narratives, and facilitated discussions that foster awareness, empathy, and solidarity.

This is more than a conversation, it’s a movement towards healing, hope, and connection.

In Solidarity,

Trevor Mason

Ontario Regional Council EFAP Standing Committee Member

Unifor Local 707 EFAP Representative
