Brothers & Sisters,

On Saturday February 28th, our Local once again aided our communities with our 4th annual Unifor Local 707 Coldest Night of the Year walk which raised funds to support the Burlington outreach program known as “Open Doors”

A Special Thank you goes to Nichole Brennan who once again organized the February 28th event and to all those who contributed in the walk or donated.

This year, even more members participated and we collectively raised $3884.00, doubling our original target. These continued efforts are truly appreciated by those in need and make a measurable difference in our communities.

In Solidarity,

Mark Sciberras

President, Unifor Local 707

If you wanted to donate and missed the opportunity, its not too late, as you can still use the link below for the next few days

CNOY (Coldest Night of the Year) is a 5km walk where tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home to shine a light of welcome and compassion in their communities. Since 2011, the Coldest Night of the Year has raised over $96,000,000 across Canada in 166 communities – 100% of net proceeds stay local to support our CNOY charity partners.
