2024 will see a limited amount of members attending courses due to the reduction of funds going into the PEL fund during the retooling layoff period. To prevent issues with EI claims and Leave of Absences that are not showing up on a regular Record of Employment for those on EI Claims, funds will be reserved for the following year when the re-tooling layoff period comes to a close.
The deadline on the postings above will be kept in place and any applications received after the deadline will go into a list in the event that we are able to accommodate the center.
For those interested in the Planning for Your Future you must fill out a new application form and submit it if interested in going. Only those who completed and submitted their retirement incentive letter and expressed interest in retiring in 2024 will be considered for this year’s program in March. We will not be using any of the applications from 2023 so fill out a new one and reach out to me with it as soon as possible please.
