Our Unifor Local 707 BIWOC committee continues to raise awareness and support reconciliation for survivors and those that lost family members in the Canadian Residential Schools system.

In September we once again begain our campagin by selling Orange Every Child Matters t-shirts at our Labour Day event and our General Membership Meeting on September 18th.

If you missed the oppurtunity to purchase this years Local 707 -Orange t-shirt and would like to purchase one for yourself or family, please drop by the Local 707 Union Hall between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm prior to September 30th. The cost of an Orange t-shirt is $5.00 with all proceeds going to the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre, https://www.hric.ca/programs.php a local Indigenious community centre.
