Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity Awareness Calendar – March

Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

As referenced in previous reports, the office is working with several parties to promote DEI awareness through visibility, education and engagement. The intent here is to leverage understanding in effort to achieve positive and meaningful change. To do so effectively, continued commitment and collaboration are necessary. This allows for both transparency and accountability across the board. Though it has been challenging to convene these past few months, there has been some marked progress.

A March DEI calendar was built and posted on culture boards and strategically placed tv’s (main entryways) along with content that integrates awareness and inclusion. While we do our best to encompass DEI dates, the calendar is not exhaustive. Ideas/suggestions are both welcome and encouraged, please use the email below. Look for resources and activity around Women’s history, Int’l Women’s Day, Int’l Day for the Elimination of Racism and Day of Trans Visibility moving forward. Thanks to all involved.

In Solidarity,
