Message from OAC Plant Chairperson – Layoff Recall Update

As indicated in my previous communication, I will continue to provide updates as recalls take place.

Ford Motor Company advised us today that 12 additional members currently on indefinite layoff will be recalled effective September 28, 2026, in order to support manpower requirements in the plant. 

On September 28, our most senior member on layoff has a seniority date of March 9, 2015.  The company communicated this recall notice with a robo-call on Tuesday afternoon.
