Halton & Hamilton United Way are providing Unifor Local 707 (Ford & Leadec members) and Unifor Local 1256 members an opportunity to register for a Financial budgeting course as all members at our two Locals are struggling to find employment. Many Ford members are adjusting to 10% reduction in income as they transfer from SUB to IMP, and Leadec and Local 1256 members are struggling to find full time employment as their EI benefits expire.

This 2 hour course on July 29th at 10:00 am at our Local 707 Union Hall will cover items such as:

  • Building a Survival Budget
  • Prioritizing and Adjusting Expenses
  • Debt and Credit Management
  • Reducing Costs Strategically
  • Accessing Financial Supports
  • Creating a 7-Day Financial Action Plan
  • Information about Resources and Support in our Communities

Class size is limited, so register as soon as possible.

Note: This course will continue to be offered, based on interest from Unifor Local 707 and Local 1256 membership
