This message is for those Local 707 -Ford Unit members on the Active roll as of the Monday following ratification who are eligible for the 2026 Production & Quality Bonus of $10,000 which will be paid out on Thursday, August 27th, 2026.
Payment will be made to members on the inactive roll who performed work for the Company in the period from January 5, 2026, to the Monday following ratification, including those who retired prior to ratification.
Payment will be made to employees on the inactive roll unable to perform work for the Company in the period from January 5, 2026, to the Monday following ratification due to maternity, parental or adoptive leaves, providing the employee worked during the term of the 2023 Collective Agreement.
RRSP OPTION – Unifor Ford Savings Plan with Canada Life
If you are one of these members, you can elect to transfer your Special Payment directly into an RRSP with your Unifor-Ford Savings Plan with Canada Life.
Note: RRSP transfer can only be completed with members who have a Unifor-Ford Savings Plan with Canada Life.
If you need to open a Unifor-Ford Savings Plan Account – Personal RRSP or Spousal RRSP
- Existing members with a Canada Life account may enrol online in a personal RRSP using your logon to www.grsaccess.com. Simply click Tools & Resources > Enrolment Express and follow the prompts to join.
- Non-Canada Life account members may open a personal RRSP online. Visit www.grsaccess.com using Guest Access Id. 8992246 & Password Unifor1.
- Spousal RRSPs cannot be set up using online access. A paper application must be completed. To print an application, use your access information and click on Forms.
- You may also call Canada Life at 1-800-724-3402 to have an enrolment package mailed to you.
All members who have a registered Unifor-Ford Savings Plan with Canada Life Assurance may return completed RRSP Election Form to OAC mail slot located in the Admin. Lobby, in person to HR or email to oachelp@ford.com
The completed RRSP Election Form must be signed and returned no later than midnight Friday, August 14th, 2026.
For those that do not elect to transfer the Production & Quality Bonus (P&Q) Payment into an RRSP, (no action is required) your payment will be issued by direct deposit on August 27th, 2026, less withholding taxes and any other applicable deductions.
