As we have now concluded our bargaining process, the Local Union (Unifor Local 707) would like to notify the membership of the deal being now ratified. Our membership came together on Saturday, July 18, 2026 and made their voices heard by discussing any issues and speaking of the strength of the proposed agreement.
After hearing all issues from members who had any concerns with any of the language, the vote took place and was voted on that day. Following the Skilled Trades ratification meeting, the voting process remained open until every ballot was cast. Following the ballots closing, the Election Committee was still at the Convention Center counting ballots until late in the afternoon Saturday. The numbers were forwarded to the local President’s office and shared with the National Union. At that point, we awaited the results of the Sunday meetings taking place elsewhere.
