As you are aware, our union has reached a tentative agreement with Ford Motor Company (Unifor reaches tentative agreement with Ford Motor Company – Unifor Auto Talks 2026 ) . This notice is to advise you that a union Ratification meeting and vote will take place on Saturday July 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. ET, and that you are encouraged to attend.
This meeting will be hosted in person, and voting will only be done in person.
The ratification meeting will provide you with a full overview of the changes contained in the tentative settlement. A comprehensive summary of the contract changes will be given out prior to the meeting for review.
Union Card entry will give you direct entrance. If you do not have a Union Card, some form of valid Identification will need to be provided for verification before being allowed entry.
Retirees may attend but do not have the ability to vote on the CBA.

Union representatives from locals 707, 200, 584, 1087, 240 and 1324 met in Richmond Hill, Ont. today where they were briefed prior to a united vote in support of the tentative agreement.
The full Master Bargaining Committee and National and local leaders collectively recommend support of the tentative agreement and are encouraging members at Ford to vote in favour of the deal.
PARKING & ACCESS INFORMATION:
Pedestrian Access via King Street: A detour walking path is in place at King Street and Summers Lane. Wayfinding signage will direct pedestrians around construction (through the parking garage) to access the Hamilton Convention Centre’s front doors.
Recommended Access Route: The easiest way to access the venue is via the bridge connecting the Convention Centre to the Sheraton. This will be open daily from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM (11:00pm when needed).
Parking Garage Access: Elevators are available from P3, P5, and the main level of the underground parking garage (shared with the Art Gallery) to reach the building.
Stairwell Access: You may also use the stairwell (pink/yellow area in the parking garage), which leads to grey crash doors on your right. These doors will be open from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM (later when needed by the client) and provide access to the main lobby.
Parking below the Hamilton Convention Centre is paid parking. There are additional parking lots that are paid parking.
Alternatively, members may choose to take public transit, have a someone drop them off, or park on the street (where available).
