Local 707-BIWOC Committee -Drive to support Farm Workers

Once again, our Local BIWOC committee will be advocating support for our Niagara Farm Workers, who work tirelessly all seasons to put fresh fruits and vegetables on our table.

At our next general membership meeting February 23rd we will be raising funds for these workers, as the committee will be selling:

 Jamaican beef patties$3.50 each or 3 for $10

Samosas$2.00 each or 3 for $5

Note: Cash only purchases

These funds along with a collection of needed clothing and supplies will be sent to Farm Worker Hub to assist these workers.

If you have any lightly used clothing that you have no further need for, please bring to our general membership meeting on February 23rd or to our Unifor Halton Action Centre between February 18th through to February 21st. The following Clothes and Supplies needed:
