Presidents Message: Temporary Production Lay-off -Monday October 31st, 2022

The company has announced that there will be no production at the Oakville Assembly Complex for the week commencing Monday October 31st, due to part supply shortages.

The company have indicated they will be informing our members with a robo-call.

For any member that needs to start a new EI claim or re-start an exsisting claim; the same EI Referecence Code used for PP 43 should be used for this lay-off begining October 31st 2022 (PP 45). See reference code below:

The expiration date for this reference code is November  11 2022.
