Brothers & Sisters,

On October 26th,2021 the National Union in consultation with the Ford Master Bargaining Committee sent a letter to Ford Motor Company of Canada, asking to pause the Mandatory Vaccination Policy that they are in process of implementing.

To this point, the Company has not paused or made changes to their Policy.  Your Ford Bargaining Council continues to have ongoing discussions with the sole focus being to have the Ford Motor Company of Canada provide a more reasonable Vaccination Policy for our members working in Canadian Facilities.

We believe that the Company has the opportunity to implement a reasonable Policy that includes alternatives that can fulfill their obligations to provide a safe workplace for all their employees.  We will continue to update our members with any developments, as we understand that many of our members are currently put in a position to make a difficult decision.

In Solidarity,

Local 707 Bargaining Committee
