Next Wednesday, September 30th, is Orange Shirt Day, a day dedicated to commemorating and acknowledging the survivors of Residential Schools in Canada, as well as honouring their families and communities.
We invite you to join the BIWOC Committee at our local membership meeting on September 27th by wearing an ,” Every Child Matters” Orange Shirt in recognition and support of this important day.
Orange shirts will be available for purchase for $10, (cash only) with all proceeds going to the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre

Your support and participation are greatly appreciated as we come together to honour survivors, remember those who were affected by the devastating impact of the Residential School system, and share in the required journey to Truth and Reconciliation.
