Brothers & Sisters

Over the past three years, our union has faced considerable challenges. Through it all, Unifor has demonstrated steady leadership and an unwavering commitment to effectively representing our members and local unions.

Unifor continues to be a strong and active voice on national issues, including the ongoing trade crisis that affects workers and threatens jobs across the country. Now more than ever, a united and well-organized Canadian union is essential to defending the interests of working people.

Unifor plays a vital role in Canada’s automotive sector—one of the country’s most important and strategically significant industries. As the union representing tens of thousands of autoworkers, Unifor has been instrumental in securing investment, protecting jobs, and ensuring that Canadian workers remain at the forefront of this critical industry. Strong union leadership has helped preserve stability and create opportunities in a rapidly changing global market.

Under Lana’s leadership, Unifor has taken a lead role in addressing these challenges and defending the interests of workers in the automotive sector, especially during times of uncertainty and transition.

We believe in the importance of continuing this work. That is why our Local 707 delegates will proudly support Lana and her team’s efforts at the 2025 Unifor Constitutional Convention, as she continues to advocate for Canadian autoworkers—today and into the future.

In Solidarity,

UNIFOR Local 707 Constitutional Convention Delegates
