Local 707 Bargaining Committee update -General Wage Increase, P&Q Bonus

Brothers and Sisters,

This communication is to provide information on when our membership will see the recently negotiated general wage increase, backpay for the wage increase and the P&Q bonus. 

General Wage Increase and Backpay – currently the company is updating the payroll system to align each classification with the new wage rate. 

The new wage rate is effective as of : Monday September 25, 2023pay period (pp) 40  

  • The Company payroll system will be updated with the new wage rates for the week of Monday October 23, 2023. –pp 44
  • You will see your new negotiated rate of pay on your Company paystub for payday Thursday November 2, 2023
  • The General Wage Increase backpay that you will receive for September 25 to October 22 -(pp 40/ pp 41/pp 42 and pp 43) will be paid on Thursday November 16, 2023 pp 46 pay stub.
  • P&Q Bonus – for those members that did not elect to transfer their bonus to an RRSP through Canada Life, will receive the Bonus payout on Thursday October 12, 2023.
