I would like to sincerely thank everyone who participated in or donated to the 46th annual Oakville Terry Fox Run. Thanks to your incredible support, our Unifor Local 707 teams have now raised over $14,650 for cancer research over the past three years.
Every step we take and every dollar we raise helps move us closer to a world without cancer. Taking action—whether by running, walking, volunteering, or donating—truly makes a difference. It’s through continued community effort and support that we honour Terry’s proud Canadian legacy and help fund the life-saving research that brings hope to millions.
A special thank you to our newly elected Alternate Ergonomic Rep –Jason D’Agostino who this year raised the most personal team donations for the cause.
Special congratulations to young Grady Lefebre, (son of Financial Secretary Brett Lefebre) who once again finished the 5 km run first amongst our Unifor Local 707 team, breaking his previous years record with a time of 23 minutes.
