IMPORTANT– (Please note before applying) : To receive a SUB reimbursement for an EI clawback, you must have line item “Social Benefit Repayment” (line 42200) on your 2024 Notice of Assessment after you have filed you taxes.
If you do not have “Social Benefit Repayment” (line 42200), then you may be required to pay further taxes on your 2024 tax return, however it would not be a result of an EI clawback. Therefore, you would not be eligible for the 2024 SUB re-imbursement and should not apply.
