IMPORTANT NOTE – Regarding Possible S.U.B. Payment Concerns

IMPORTANT NOTE

For the weeks:

PP16 – April 7-11, 2025 – payday April 17

PP20 – May 5-9, 2025 – payday May 15

Many may find that their SUB payment for PP16 or PP20 will not get deposited as expected. The Ford Motor Company SUB pay system is programmed to follow the general rules and pattern of Employment Insurance.

EI has a window of 52 weeks (one year) to collect eligible weeks of benefits.

The Ford SUB Pay System follows the same principle and assumes that after 52 weeks from the start of your last waiting period, a new waiting period will need to be applied.

Due to the layoff weeks in 2024, many people started a claim in PP16 or PP20.

This means that the Ford SUB pay system will automatically apply a waiting period and SUB will NOT payout as normal in PP16 or PP20 this year.

As a result, corrections and adjustments will be made accordingly and payments, if applicable, will be made within 2 weeks of occurrence.

Thanks,

Paul Ivey
