Plant Update: Brothers and Sisters:

FYI the plant was sent home on Tuesday of this past week due to parts shortages. There was major labour unrest in Mexico which resulted in a shortage of parts being shipped to OAC. As of now we as a union have been notified that we have parts to continue production next week and management does not expect any problems in the foreseeable future. As I have said in most of my previous messages we anticipate strong sales leading into the spring and do not expect any more downtime.

I’m sure most of you know by now or saw my post yesterday contractually the company must notify the union by Feb 1st the summer shutdown period. A 1 week shutdown from Mon July 1st – Sun July 7th has been scheduled. February looks like it’s coming in with a bang be safe and try and stay warm.

In Solidarity
