Brothers and Sisters,
Today, the Halton region moved to implement broader-scale measures and restrictions, across multiple sectors, to control the transmission of COVID-19.
These new restrictions, used to control the pandemic in the region, are the most severe and considered the last possible measure before widescale business or organizational closures in the region.
These new red or control restrictions, limit gatherings to 10 people indoors for all organized public events and social gatherings. As a result of these changes we have reviewed our safety protocols and how this would impact our Local and have decided to postpone our Standing Committee elections, until February 2021. At that time we will reconsider new dates based on the pandemic’s affect in our region.
