Sisters and Brothers of our Leadec Unit,

We are pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached between Unifor Locals 200/707 and Leadec.

Details of the agreement will be given out to all of the members who come out on Saturday October 16 at 1:30pm for the Ratification Vote. Doors will open at 1pm to have time for members to register. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR VACCINATION RECORD AND ID in order to be allowed in to building. Accommodations will be made for those unvaccinated or without proof of vaccination or identification outside the east side of the building. Please check in with the front door for details.

The details will be explained by Unifor Local 707 Vice President Dave Millar, Unifor Local 707 Leadec Chairperson Fuad Hassan and Unifor Local 707 Leadec #2 Shift Committee Person Kunal Ahluwalia at 1:30 sharp.

Voting will be open from 2:00 pm until 3:00pm at the 707 Union Hall located at 475 North Service Rd. East in Oakville.

Please come and hear all of the details on Saturday. The Leadership is endorsing this contract with 100% support and we look forward to bringing the terms of the agreement to you.

We are currently working on the details of the presentation. No information is currently available and in fairness to all, we are doing so as to ensure everyone hears properly from the Bargaining Committee at the same time so as to not put false information on the floor.

We have sat across the table and later across the computer working on a deal that is beneficial to our members and we feel that this agreement is something that our members will value moving forward.
