2019 United Way Halton & Hamilton (UWHH) An Evening of Celebration at the Burlington Convention Centre

On Wednesday April 3rd, the annual Celebration included the Spirit Awards Ceremony.  The Award for the Joint Union Management Campaign of the Year Award was given to Unifor Local 707/Ford Motor Company of Canada for your successful joint campaign. Together you raised well over $400,000.00!

The 6 office staff for Unifor Local 707, comprised of COPE 343 members and the Executives of the Local, were awarded the Outstanding United Way Union Citizen of the Year Award!   Each of them generously donate every year while providing a space at the Union Hall for many United Way functions and events.

This was the most successful campaign for the UWHH as they raised a record fundraising amount of $10,875,000.00!

Over 80 community agencies and the 200,000 residents who rely on essential services will be forever grateful for your commitment and compassion. Unifor Local 707/Ford Motor Company of Canada play a huge part in this community and those agencies depend on you.  Without your support UWHH could never do the important work that they do to make communities a better place for all.
