Sisters and Brothers,

Due to a watermain issue outside of the hall, the Local Union Hall will be closed for the balance of the day (as of 12:36pm) as it has been indicated by the Town contractors that the work will not be completed before 8pm this evening.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused to anyone looking to come in today under the current weather conditions. We look forward to seeing you again tomorrow. If there is anything we can do to help remotely, please feel free to contact Financial Secretary Brett Lefebre at financial1@uniforlocal707.ca or Vice President Dave Millar at vp1@uniforlocal707.ca

With no water coming into the building, it creates a Health and Safety issue as far as cleanliness. We appreciate your respect for the Health and Safety of all that come to visit. As trade unionists, we need to practice what we preach and fight for the well-being of our staff and members.

In Solidarity,

Dave Millar

Unifor Local 707

Vice President
