Election Day is today, Thursday, February 27. Here are all the details you need to cast your ballot.

When to Vote

Thursday, February 27, 9 AM to 9 PM (Eastern Time).

Bring Your ID

Identification is required to vote in the Ontario provincial election. You have a few options:

  • Option 1: If you’re registered to vote, you should receive a Voter Information Card in the mail. Bring your Voter Information Card, and one piece of ID showing your name.
  • Option 2: If you’re not registered to vote or didn’t receive a Voter Information Card, you can bring one piece of ID showing both your name and home address instead..

Valid identification includes most documents issued by the Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario or a municipality in Ontario. Click here for a list of examples of valid ID, and more information about what to bring with you.
