Brothers and Sisters,

Unifor Local 707 is a proud sponsor of Hope in Every Step this year, a walk to end violence against women.

We have created a team page for members wishing to donate and/or participate. Your contributions go directly to Halton Women’s Place, helping women and children in need.

Thank you for your support.

Story

Hope in Every Step is a walk to end violence against women, taking place on November 2nd in Burlington during Women Abuse Prevention Month. Support those walking to raise funds for Halton Women’s Place, the only women’s shelter in Halton.

Your pledge isn’t just a donation—it’s a powerful statement of solidarity with survivors of domestic violence. Every dollar raised goes directly to Halton Women’s Place, providing crucial resources for women and children fleeing violence.

While the walk is a symbolic act of unity, your support is what truly drives change. By pledging to a participant or team, you play a vital role in the fight to end domestic violence. Let your generosity empower survivors and create a safer, more supportive community.

Together, we can make a lasting impact. Whether you’re walking or pledging, you’re part of a movement striving for a future free from violence.

If you would like to DONATE to the UNIFOR LOCAL 707 team go to the button below. This is also the way to join our fundraising team if you want to raise funds.

A $35 registration fee applies for all adult attendees/members ($15 for youth) wishing to participate in the walk on Nov. 2nd.
