Power on the Stairs

Changes to Monday mornings workout

June was about promoting men’s mental and physical health. In July an increase in attendance for both men and women was happening. So Noel has made a change of location
No longer at the Kenilworth stairs

We will now meet at the top of the Chedoke stairs.

Park at the bottom of the stairs Chedoke golf course or parking at the top Scenic Drive

MEET AT THE TOP 9:30am

Why?

Noel has decided to change locations for better use of a larger space due to large numbers of group.

We are getting close to 10-20 people out and need more space for equipment and it helps keep things organized.

It’s easier for people to commute to because you can get there right off the highway for those driving out of the city of Hamilton.
People from Oakville, Brantford and Niagara area are all attending now and this location is easier to find directly off of the 403

Things change and we have allowed this change naturally not forcing things to happen. The community has responded positively to our group and workout. Women straight off the street passing by or walking the stairs have joined us and worked out with the group showing up each week.

When?

Monday mornings 9:30am

The group is open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced fitness enthusiasts. They offer 2 hours of structured training sessions, which include team drills and exercises using equipment such as sandbags, pushing sleds, kettle bells, weights, balls, and battle ropes. The sessions also involve climbing up and down the stairs.

The goal of this group is to provide a supportive environment where we can come together to improve physical health and well-being, while also providing emotional and mental support to one another. Noel emphasizes the importance of taking control of one’s physical health, especially during uncertain times, and provides guidance and leadership by example.

The group welcomes new members and encourages them to bring a friend along. Whether you’re interested in joining the group or just showing your support on social media, Noel and the entire group appreciate it. Come out and use your Power on the Stairs.
