Brothers & Sisters,

August 9th is recognized as International Day of the Worlds Indigenous Peoples Day. Unifor local 707 would like to raise awareness by recognizing this day of all the achievements and contributions that Indigenous people make to improve world issues such as environmental protection. December 23 1994, the United Nations General Assembly decided to mark the day of there first meeting on this day.

Let us all continue working together to make sure NO ONE IS LEFT BEHIND!

Thank you,

Constance Brown

BIWOC Chair/RJA
