Brothers and Sisters,
March 21st is a recognized International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Globally, workers and union activists will be coming together to identify paths towards greater racial justice for all working people.
On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the North American Solidarity Project is inviting union members, activists and allies to attend an online exchange called Together for Racial Justice.
Participants will get to hear from the frontlines of the fight for racial justice. Workers and union activists will share challenges, share organizing stories, and identify paths towards greater racial justice for working people.
The online exchange will take place on Saturday, March 20 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time on zoom. Advance registration is required.
The North American Solidarity Project is a joint effort to transform the labour movement in North America based on democratic, militant, and social unionism, and true internationalism between workers in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
* This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada.
