United Way – Platinum Local Leaders

During our most recent United Way Campaign, collectively our Local workforce raised $396,675.70 through payroll contributions and raised an additional $5,665.00 selling chocolate covered almonds for a total of $402,340.70. Our efforts and contributions provided Local 707 with another award as a Platinum Local leader.

However, more importantly the money raised will help fund over 65 agencies and 129 programs helping more than 200,000 people throughout our region. It’s something we should all be proud to have participated in. Now more than ever our communities depend on these agencies and communities.

If you or anyone you know are in need of assistance you can reach out to programs like the CMHA (Canadian Mental Health Agency) in Oakville. We have provided the 211 link for our members and family in need of assistance https://211ontario.ca

Another good link for all the United Way agencies that may be able to assist our members is the Halton Community Services Directory
