Manpower Update

Brothers and Sisters:

Following up on last week’s update as stated the in-plant committee has been in constant negotiations regarding manpower issues in the plant. I am pleased to announce today that Ford Motor company has agreed to call back 18 more of our indefinitely laid off members. That will leave only 2 remaining members on layoff and we hope to have that issue resolved very shortly. We realize as a leadership this certainly doesn’t  solve all the problems we have with manpower issues at this time but we are extremely happy to be able to return our laid off members especially with Christmas right around the corner. We are still awaiting a scheduling plan for the New Year and we will update you as it becomes available but for now some good news for those members.

In Solidarity
